Choosing Hope Over Fear
Fear is one of the most crippling emotions we face. It whispers lies, magnifies problems, and paralyzes us from stepping into God’s promises. But the good news is this: hope is greater than fear.
Hope is not just wishful thinking—it’s confident trust in God’s character. Romans 15:13 says, “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope.” Notice that hope comes from trusting in God, not in circumstances.
At Hope Highway Church, we believe that fear loses its grip when faith rises. Choosing hope means believing that tomorrow can look different because God is already there. It means looking at a closed door and trusting that God has something better. It means facing the unknown, not with trembling, but with assurance that His promises never fail.
Fear says, “What if it all goes wrong?” Hope says, “What if it all works out by God’s hand?” Fear focuses on what we can’t control, while hope rests on the One who is in control.
Today, you get to choose. Will it be fear or hope? Let’s take a step together toward hope.
